About

Kendra is a gluten-detection dog handler. She trained her dog, Suki, through Willow Service Dogs under Dawn Scheu. As a blogger and social media content creator, Kendra discovered the hunger for more information regarding training service dogs, specifically gluten-detection dogs. Professionally, she designs education and training programs for corporations.

Because of the lack of information regarding training a service dog, and the expense of training, Kendra decided to partner with her good friend and fellow service dog trainer, Kari Bastyr, to design a series of courses that will educate potential handlers on what they need to know prior to making the full commitment of training a service dog.

Gluten-Free Victoria, British Columbia: A Celiac-Safe Travel and Dining Guide
When I visited Victoria, B.C. on a quick cruise stop on the last day of my Alaskan cruise, I knew I had to come back to explore the beautiful location. The combination of small city with Pacific Northwest trees and views of the rugged Olympic Mountains spoke to me. Thankfully, I have friends who were more than happy to invite me back for a longer visit. I have since been back to Victoria twice, and I know I will return many more times for the beautiful location and the amazing celiac-safe,...
